The mercantile half

Shelves full of people we know

The honey is ours. Almost everything else on these shelves was made by someone close enough to drop it off in person — 17 makers and counting, from potters and bakers to a woodworker who keeps bees of his own.

We would rather sell a few things made by people we can name than sixty from a wholesale catalogue.

The house

Henrietta Honey

Raw and infused honey, honeycomb, honey sticks, and the soap, lip balm and beeswax candles we make from our own hives on the Lake Erie shore. Everything with our name on it starts in one of Sherry's colonies.

Make something? We may have room.

We take on a few new makers each year, with a strong preference for people close enough to bring their work in themselves. Send us a note about what you make and we will come back to you.
