Where can I buy local raw honey near Sheffield Lake, Ohio?
Henrietta Honey & Mercantile at 4650 E Lake Rd, Sheffield Lake, Ohio sells raw honey from our own hives, Tue–Sat 12pm–5pm. We also ship nationwide from our online shop.
Is your honey raw and unfiltered?
Yes. We never heat or fine-filter our honey, so the natural pollen and enzymes stay in the bottle. That is also why the color and flavor change through the season.
Why has my honey turned solid?
Crystallization is normal and is a sign the honey is genuinely raw. Stand the bottle in warm water for a few minutes and it returns to liquid with no loss of quality.
Do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship across the United States, from $7.50 for a single bottle, and free on orders over $100. Orders go out Tuesday to Saturday from Sheffield Lake.
Can local honey help with seasonal allergies?
Many customers buy local honey for this reason. The evidence is mixed and we make no medical claim — but our honey does carry local pollen, because we never filter it out.
